CHRISTMAS DELIVERIES

The distillery is closed between 15th and 25th of December 2024. Any orders placed before midnight on 13th December will be sent out the next day. Orders placed after the 13th December will be posted after the 26th of December.

It may take us up to 72 hours to send out email gift vouchers during the time that the distillery is closed so please place any gift voucher orders as early as possible.

Drookit Hoose named finalist in Scottish Gin Awards 2022!

We were delighted to find out that Drookit Hoose is a finalist in the Scottish Gin Awards 2022 for Best New Product of the Year!

In 2021 our Devil’s Staircase was awarded a Bronze Medal for London Dry Gin of the Year and our Artisan Range Scottish Chanterelle Gin received a Silver Medal in Distilled Gin of the Year, it was quite the result and an amazing opportunity to finally catch up with our gin producing friends!

We can’t wait until November to see how our Hoose gin gets on at this year’s awards!

Gin tasting includes a full tasting experience with 3 gins along with mixers and garnishes as well as a tour of the distillery where you can find out and see how and where we make our award winning spirits!

For a while we have been offering tours and tastings on request and noticed that there are many people looking for this kind of experience so we have decided to offer these weekly, bookable on our website.

As we are also busy running our daily Gin & Rum distilling courses as well as distilling and bottling, we have started with very limited number of dates but are happy to accommodate other dates on request, subject to availability.

Two wins at the Scottish Gin Awards 2021!

We are extremely proud to have brought home 2 medals from the Scottish Gin Awards 2021 in arguably the hardest and most fiercely contested categories.

With only the top 3 Scottish gins in each category being presented with medals, Devil’s Staircase proudly brought home a Bronze medal in unarguably the toughest taste category, that of London Dry Gin of the Year and our Scottish Chanterelle Gin clinching the Silver Medal in Distilled Gin of the Year.

Pixel Spirits Oak Aged Gin now award-winner!

We are absolutely delighted to have received an enormous 92 points out of 100 and a silver medal at this year’s International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC 2021) for our newly launched Oak Aged Gin! Aged in former herb liqueur cask, the judges comments include “Citrus, floral notes on the nose with hints of vanilla and coffee. Aniseed and clove on the palate. Luscious botanicals. Oak is evident but not overpowering”.

New release – Golden Rum!

Latest release to our Artisan Range, cask aged Golden Rum, is now available on our web shop! This Scottish craft rum has been fermented and double distilled in our distillery and then aged in former herb liqueur barrels for s minimum of 6 months.

Delivery charges donated to help India Coviod-19 crisis

We are increasingly concerned about the Covid-19 situation in India and have decided that we will introduce a set delivery charge for all orders on our web shop (www.pixelspiritsltd.co.uk) and we will donate this delivery cost to a charity helping out with the second wave in India. We hope that you will support this cause, please select ‘Flat rate – Donation to India’ as your shipping option when placing your order.

This cannot be applied to items sent by email, such as gift vouchers, but you can also make a donation of your choice to Disasters Emergency Committee here.

We use various Indian spices in our products such as cardamom and coriander and have visited this wonderful country which makes us very personally connected to the region. We have all gone through a huge ordeal during the past year and what it has taught us, as people, is that we need to look after one another and offer our help where we can.

We hope that you are with us to help our global friends in their time of need.

Pixel Spirits wins an international award for their White Rum

Pixel Spirits, has been crowned a winner in the prestigious World Rum Awards for 2021. Our newly released White Rum, part of the Artisan Range, was the overall winner in the taste category of unaged rum, distilled in pot and column stills!

After experimenting with a variety of casks over the past couple of years, from virgin American and European oak to former bourbon, we are soon releasing a cask aged Golden Rum to our growing products list.

Craig, our Master Distiller, is naturally over the moon about the latest award and says: “The past year has been challenging across the board, but it has given us time to work more on our exciting new rum expressions and other products on our Artisan Range”.
